I know my blog has pretty much just been full of school updates, but that’s all I’ve had time for it seems like.  It’s been a change for me having a school age child.  I’m settling in though and he is loving school.

His first day was pretty emotional.  Letting my baby go off to school.  He got a little teary eyed and so did I.  I know for a fact that if he full out bawled his eyes out I would have been a flood of tears, but he actually did pretty good (and so did I…just barely though haha)  I sat by the phone most of the day  just in case I got a call from the school.  There was no call so, he must have been fine.  He had a little time out during class I heard about.  I guess he needs a little bit more work on the sharing and following directions.  He thinks he’s “The Boss” at times. Once he got home he kept telling me that I need to share this and that with him  “Share with me!” and he kept trying to put his little brother in time out.  By the time he gets home he is pretty worn out, but had fun at school.  I’m so glad that he is enjoying it.

All weekend I heard “Go to school please!?” Perfect time to teach him the weekdays & weekends.  Since right now he doesn’t know the difference.  I let him know he would be going in on Monday and sure enough Sunday rolls around and he was asking to go to school again.    My youngest still wants to go school with him everyday.  He gets his shoes, sweater & backpack on and waits at the door to go.
