Check Out Netflix’s Newest Series “Bottersnikes & Gumbles”

Netflix has been my families #1 source for TV shows & Movies for years now. Cable TV is not missed in my home. You can find just about anything you would want to watch and they have a fantastic selection of kids movies & shows. With many great titles to choose from it can be hard to narrow it down to just one, but I’ll help you out today. On August 19th Netflix’s newest series for kids, “Bottersnikes & Gumbles” was released. My sons have taken sometime to watch this new series and they have enjoyed it. My 6 year old son is currently watching an episode of it while I’m typing this post. Thanks, Netflix!

Bottersnikes & Gumbles was developed and adapted from the characters and world as they first appeared in the much-loved Bottersnikes and Gumbles books by S.A. Wakefield, with illustrations by Desmond Digby. The show is geared towards boys & girls from 6-9 years old. Each episode runs for 12 minutes and Season 1 has 26 episodes to watch. The characters live in a fantasy kingdom made from rusting junk and abandoned things from the human world. The characters are a mix of cute & fun loving and mean & lazy.

Introducing The Bottersnikes and Gumbles

The Gumbles are Tink, Willi, Bounce, Happi, Merry, Float, Jolli and Toot. The Gumbles can be found living along The Junk Highway in a Gumble tree. They are the fun loving characters of the show who are resourceful thrill seekers who are able to squash and stretch into any direction. They enjoy gumbling around which is an extreme and exciting cross between parkour, free climbing and base jumping. They really keep busy and enjoy having fun.

The Bottersnikes are The King, Chank, Weathersnike, Gubbo, Smiggles, Glob and Snorg. They can be found living in Snike Hill where they are ruled by The King Snike. The Bottersnikes are not fun loving. They are mean spirited, selfish, lazy, stinky, mostly evil creatures. Bottersnikes like to fill up on junk, rusty nails and their favorite food being mattress stuffing. They tend to stay away from water because when they get wet they shrink.

So, if your looking for a new show for your children to watch Bottersnikes & Gumbles should be added to your must watch list.
